The role of an manager is varied and could involve a range of different tasks as well as involve you across a variety of sectors. If you want to learn the workings of a Business, then this apprenticeship maybe for you. As an administrator you could do tasks such as sending emails, answering calls, meeting and greeting people, sorting mail or more complex tasks such as writing reports, taking notes, arranging travel and meetings, welcoming visitors, handling mail and using electronic message systems and office equipment.

As an apprentice manager you could do tasks such as sending emails, answering calls, meeting and greeting people, sorting mail or more complex tasks such as writing reports ,taking notes, arranging travel and meetings, welcoming visitors, handling mail and using electronic message systems and office equipment.

Progression Routes on completion

 

  • Other level 4 Advanced Business Management Apprenticeships (A level equivalent). 
  • Further education to undertake management, business related or other qualifications
  • With additional training, Intermediate apprentices may be able to progress in their careers to roles including   lead teams, or supervise
  • Higher Apprenticeship in Business & Professional Administration further or higher education to undertake business related or other qualifications, including
  • Foundation Degrees in areas such as business, business management, and business
  • With additional training, advanced apprentices may be able to progress in their careers to roles including office manager, administration team leader, personal assistant or a wide range of managerial roles within business

Typical salaries for a level 3 qualified Business Manger could range from £16,587 to £19,000 per year ( however this will be based on sector, and experience)
